Our challenge was to translate this aspiration into a brand that resonates deeply with their audience while standing out in Bali’s competitive tourism market.

Immersion and discovery

To create something meaningful for Sea Bon Villas, we started by getting to know them - their goals, their guests, and their vision of what it means to feel at home.

Through a collaborative workshop, we explored their values and ambitions. We uncovered a strong sense of purpose built on trust, comfort, and genuine hospitality. These foundations shaped the direction of their brand from the start.

To understand Sea Bon Villas’ place in the market, we took a closer look at Bali’s competitive landscape. We explored what today’s premium travelers are really looking for — and what defines an exceptional stay. The insights helped shape a brand that meets those expectations with clarity and intent.

These insights became the foundation of the strategy, shaping every creative decision that followed. By combining cultural authenticity, personal care, and modern design, we built a brand that speaks to the needs and expectations of Sea Bon Villas’ future guests. Shaping the brand

With a clear understanding of Sea Bon Villas and the values at their core, we set out to craft a brand identity that felt as welcoming as the experience they wanted to offer. This identity needed to go beyond aesthetics - it had to tell a story, foster a sense of belonging, and build genuine connection.

We began with the verbal identity. Language is how a brand shows up in the world, and every word was chosen with care. The tone was designed to be warm, thoughtful, and assured — a reflection of the personalized experience at the heart of Sea Bon Villas. From the tagline to the website copy, the voice consistently invited guests into a space where they could feel relaxed, understood, and truly at home.

Visual identity

The visual identity was shaped by the island itself. Drawing from Bali’s natural beauty, we created a palette inspired by soft sand tones, lush greenery, and the detailed craftsmanship woven through local culture. This blend of authenticity and modern design reflected the unique spirit of Sea Bon Villas. At the centre was a flexible logo system, designed to work seamlessly across digital, print, and merchandise — ensuring the brand felt consistent and considered at every touchpoint.

To bring the identity to life, we introduced playful, human touches that captured the spirit of Sea Bon Villas’ service. An animated mascot was created to reflect the warmth and care at the heart of their guest experience - a visual cue for the brand’s commitment to going above and beyond. This added layer of personality helped create a connection that felt personal and genuine. Together, every element worked in harmony to form a brand that’s as thoughtful and distinctive as the villas themselves.

Crafting the digital experience

During our immersion workshop - we quickly discovered that Sea Bon Villas would be using their website for more than just sales. Competing against the large OTA’s for bookings is challenging for smaller businesses, and so we wanted to craft an experience that could be used for customer experience alongside potential sales.

The website features an intuitive design that allows potential guests to seamlessly explore the villas, book their stay, and access personalized concierge support. For guests who have already confirmed their booking, we developed a private member area which creates an engaging and supportive pre-arrival experience.

Future proofing the digital experience

In designing the site, we also ensured it would grow with the business. Its scalable structure supports future expansion into villa management services and partnerships with property owners, making it a long-term asset for Sea Bon Villas as they continue to evolve.
